This is an integrative literature review study whose objective was to assess the psychological impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the university community and to envisage coping measures in the post-pandemic period. The search for studies took place during October 2021 in four databases (Science Direct, PubMed, BVS and PsycInfo) using the following descriptors: “Mental health AND University OR College AND Post-pandemic”, all consulted in the descriptor dictionary at MeSH health area from PsycINFO's PubMed and Thesaurus database. In the initial search, about 600 articles were found that, after the inclusion and exclusion process, left seven studies, added with another five, found from the manual search, totaling 12 articles that were fully explored for final analysis, from the perspective qualitative analysis of content. We realize that the Covid-19 pandemic has immensely affected the mental health of the university community. Mental health risk behaviors (fear of contamination by the virus, uncertainty about the end of the pandemic and the return of face-to-face classes, measures of prolonged social distancing, anxiety and other psychological discomforts) were notable among students, teachers and the entire academic community. , exacerbated by the lack of psychosocial support services. Universities are challenged to find mechanisms to promote community psychosocial support services as a priority in the period after the pandemic.
