The professional education of girls in deprivation of freedom

This work results from a master's research that sought to unveil how the professional education of adolescent girls that attend a measure deprivation of liberty in Minas Gerais is given, and the empirical locus is the only female institution in the state. It was investigated the importance of offering this type of education to this part of the population through semi-structured interviews with managers of the institution and a press conference with a group of five adolescents. The collected data were analyzed by means of content analysis bringing considerations about the schooling, the professionalization and the gender relations that happen in the measure deprivation of liberty.Downloads
