Abstract

This work results from a master's research that sought to unveil how the professional education of adolescent girls that attend a measure deprivation of liberty in Minas Gerais is given, and the empirical locus is the only female institution in the state. It was investigated the importance of offering this type of education to this part of the population through semi-structured interviews with managers of the institution and a press conference with a group of five adolescents. The collected data were analyzed by means of content analysis bringing considerations about the schooling, the professionalization and the gender relations that happen in the measure deprivation of liberty.

Especialista em Práticas Socioeducativas pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, Especialista em Gestão de Políticas Públicas com Ênfase em Gênero e Relações Etnorraciais pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, Especialista em Políticas Públicas e Socioeducação da Escola Nacional de Socioeducação/Universidade de Brasília. Graduada em Administração pelo UNIFEMM - Centro Universitário de Sete Lagoas, em Letras/Inglês pela Universidade Federal de Lavras e em Pedagogia pelo Uninter - Centro Universitário Internacional. Atualmente desenvolve atividades em Medida Socioeducativa de Internação na cidade de Sete Lagoas, leciona na Educação Básica e é Pesquisadora no Forquap-CEFET/MG nos temas de juventudes e vulnerabilidades sociais, projetos de vida, formação profissional em medidas socioeducativas e relações de gênero.
