ASSOCIATION BETWEEN ANTHROPOMETRIC FACTORS OF HEALTH RISK TO GUIDE OF DIRECTION IN THE CURITIBA CITY

Objective: To describe anthropometric factors to classify the health status and the association between anthropometric indicators of risk to health guide direction in the city of Curitiba Parana. Methodology: The sample consisted of 39 guide direction practical were measured body mass (BM) and height (HEI), we calculated the body mass index (BMI), MC, and HEI self-reported BMI, waist circumference (WC), and calculated the waist to height (WHR) used a descriptive analysis, correlation of Spearman and “t” test of Student with a p<0.05. Results: The prevalence for men was 31.6% and 36.8% and 25% and 10% overweight and obese men and women respectively, the correlation between self-reported and actual BMI was 0.986 and 0.843 men and women respectively, both with significant differences between actual and reported with p<0.05. for the PC there was a prevalence of 26.3% and 25% of individuals at risk, as to the CER prevalance this rose to 68.4% and 60% in the risk for men and women respectively. but no values were significant compared with the association of BMI and CER to the working time.
