LIFESTYLE, HEALTH AND WELFARE OF SCHOOL: perception of school environment and physical education in a municipal school in Novo Cabrais-RS

Resumen

This study aims to determine the perception of school environment and physical education classes for students of early grades of elementary school and end of a municipal school in Novo Cabrais-RS. The study has a descriptive and exploratory, and has 31 students as subjects of both sexes, aged between 9 and 17 years, students of the 5th and 8th grades of elementary school. For data collection, a questionnaire was administered to students. We observed that 100% of the boys interviewed like the time they spend in school, while 76.9% of girls also agreed with this statement. Both in the 5th class, the class in 8th grade, was 17 visible the perception of solidarity among the students. The satisfaction with the quality of teaching is reflected in the percentage of students who consider the faculty as "Good" and "Very Good", with respectively 51.6% and 48.4%. In relation to Physical Education classes, all students were satisfied and happy to carry out the activities. Among the activities of physical education that most students enjoy, stood Football, Handball, Basketball and Volleyball, and among the least stood out like the heating, stretching and Basketball. After analyzing the data collected, it can be concluded that both students in early grades, and the final grades of elementary school perceive the school as a welcoming and supportive environment for their learning, finding in Physical Education, an excellent ally, capable of stimulating the like, further, by that environment.
