Abstract

From the development of a tool in order to promote creativity and innovation in organizations, it was possible to offer a virtual space, which allows collaboration between users. This tool was called IdeiaWare and uses the Design Thinking approach, with the objective of assisting in the processes of generating ideas and retaining knowledge. The development project started in 2016 and is in its second phase, which consists of testing and improving the tool. To the modules already developed in the tool (collaborative, storytelling, toolbox - persona and point of view - and knowledge retention), a new module for capturing the user's facial expressions was added and new updates were made. During the process of testing and evaluating the tool with groups of users, new requirements were suggested, aiming to promote better usability in the process of user interaction with the tool. Among the new requirements suggested and developed are the functionality to search for ideas, based on the users' interest in more specific themes, since the ideas are stored in the base of the tool; allow the registration of more managers responsible for releasing ideas to start the process of forming groups to discuss ideas; and allow collaboration in the storytelling and toolbox modules, in addition to the collaborative module for discussing ideas.
