Health education is a process of a knowledge in the area of health that seeks to build knowledge in a playful and dialogic way with the population, according to their demands. This article was elaborated from the accomplishment of a documental analysis supported by a bibliographical revision. The text aims to analyze the Youtube channel entitled “DrugsLab” created by the Dutch public broadcaster BBN, emphasizing the theme of drugs related to the adolescent public. The concept of drug is broad and can include licit and illicit substances, however, regardless of its definition, drugs have been present since the dawn of society and inserted in different contexts. Adolescence is a period of transformation, in which the affirmation of individualities occurs, as well as the search for a feeling of belonging to groups of friends. In this context, Youtube, as a content dissemination platform, can be considered a tool in the health education process, as it reaches young people at the same time that it can be used as an educational tool by professionals. The platform, being dynamic, easy to access and free to produce content, proves to be a powerful pedagogical tool, with the ability to create positive expectations on the part of students in relation to classes.
