Abstract

The knowledge of the draft force allows an estimate of the necessary potency for traction the seeder, what results in economy of energy, if certain in a necessary way, being avoided like this the use of source of larger potency than the need. The manufacturers through catalogs of the equipments supply information on the necessary potency for traction the seeder. With the objective of quantifying the efforts of draft force of seeder of no-tillage field researches are developed where is evaluate the necessary draft force. The objective of this work was it of verifying the information supplied by the seeders manufacturers, through catalogs to the user, on the demand of traction force they are reliable in comparison with the information obtained in works of research of measurement of the traction effort in field.
