PROPOSAL OF A P+L AS A TOOL FOR PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: A CASE STUDY

Operate in a less aggressive to the environment, reduce costs and become more competitive. This has been the focus of debates in Environmental Management and has been gaining momentum within organizations. However, do not require large investments and innovative changes in the way companies operate. Simple programs and targeted directly to the production process can bring benefit and cause a major impact on environmental management. Based on this principle and the analysis of the reality of a manufacturing company dedicated to the segment of waterproof clothing, the study created a proposal for a Cleaner Production program focused on environmental education, Reverse Logistics and Ecodesign. The most significant environmental impacts were identified through an array of Leopold and research adapted the generation of the losses occurred with the creation of flowcharts and diagrams of inputs and outputs. Also designed a device capable of assisting in the recycling process and the remains of the proposed indicators for environmental monitoring of the company. The methods used and the results showed serve as important sources in decision making and as a tool to help plan for Environmental Management.Downloads
