Abstract

Nowadays, many organizations have a lot of questions about everything that encompasses the Process Management Model, from how actually happens the deployment of this new management model, to what the migration to this new model will add in performance to the organization. Aware of these questions, the paper aims to contribute to the analysis of methodologies for the Process Management, raising important issues relevant to the topic, making a comparison of the main concepts discussed in each methodology studied, as their similarities, and their innovations. To develop this paper it was performed literature searches on Process Management implementation and a case study analysis. The findings indicate that an important aspect for achieving success in the Process Management implementation is the pre-definition of a methodology to be used as a reference, and this should be the one that best fits to the profile of the organization. Moreover, it is highlighted that the correct identification of the main proceedings also exerts great influence on the success of the implementation process of the Process Management in an organization.
