Abstract

This article deals with artificial intelligence and the legal impacts of its use on public security. Its research problem is: what are the synergies and normative matrices in the use of artificial intelligence for public security and the protection of fundamental rights? The method of approach is deductive and the procedural method is monographic. It is concluded that, despite the existence of normative provisions on data and artificial intelligence, there is no specific legislation in Brazil for the protection of the person in the face of such mechanism in public security, in view of the legislative denial of its application in the segment, lacking the specific promotion of public policies for the protection of rights in the use of technologies for security.
