This article deals with the worst forms of child labor. Its general objective is to analyze the panorama of the exploitation of child and adolescent labor in its worst forms in Brazil in 2023, with a view to identifying actions to combat it. The specific objectives are: to analyze the recent panorama of the worst forms of child labor in Brazil; to present Brazilian legal regulations against the exploitation of child labor in its worst forms; and to identify actions to confront the worst forms of child labor in Brazil. To this end, the following research problem was posed: Given the panorama of the worst forms of child labor in Brazil, as well as the corresponding legal protection regulations, what are the existing and possible actions to adequately combat them? The hypothesis put forward is that the fight against the worst forms of child labor in Brazil requires a series of coordinated actions between the Federal Government, the Labor Inspectorate and the actors of the System for the Guarantee of Rights (SGD) in the areas of inspection, rescue, monitoring and prevention. The methodology used was the deductive approach method, the monographic procedure method, and bibliographic and documentary research techniques.
