A syllabus for a Law and Public Policy course

The article presents the Law and Public Policy course offered at the Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP). The goal is to provide potential professors interested in offering LPP courses or parts of it a script of themes, materials, and didactic issues that can support them. The method is based on the description of the discipline, its justification and objectives, the content, and bibliography. The article is organized in an introductory section with the history of the creation of the LPP undergraduate course at FD-USP, a section 2, with the presentation of the commented program and its rationale, as well as the discussion of some critical issues brought with the structuring of the Law and Public Policy approach, which affect teaching and research, and a section 3 with the analytical frameworks and final considerations.
