SUSTAINABILITY, TECHNOLOGY AND LAW: A NECESSARY SYNCHRONISM

Technological transformations that have led humanity to the current digital age impact the social, political and economic dimensions of sustainability. This scenario demands from the Law new mechanisms for its application and effectiveness, since the old ones are incapable of responding to the complexities of a technological and constantly changing world. Sustainability presupposes the understanding that the legal locus resides not only in the legal, jurisprudential or doctrinal dimension, but also in attitudes that provide opportunities for understanding different nuances, in addition to those established by normative texts.
