PUBLIC HEALTH POLICY AND MIGRANTS: CHALLENGES OF HEALTH EDUCATION

The article analyzes the role of Health Education in migratory contexts. Initially, there is a thought about health rights and migrants, which during their mobility process go through aggravated lack of this right. Then, it is presented an approach of the Brazilian Public Health Policy towards migrants, considering today as the new users of the health system and finally, the fundamental importance of Health Education within the Public Health Policy is analyzed as an instrument for the promotion and prevention of migrants' health. The method adopted presents a predominantly bibliographic analysis.Downloads
