The migratory movements have been characterized by an increasing female participation that brings challenges and difficulties related to the socio-cultural, economic and health insertion of women in the countries/places they have migrated. In this article, we analyze the circumstances that led immigrant women to use health services in Porto Alegre, RS. Through semi-structured interviews, it was possible to understand some of the ease and the difficulties experienced by them in the daily access to the Brazilian health system.Downloads
