An action was carried out to train nurses on violence notification with the Nursing undergraduates. An elaborated case and notification form of interpersonal/self-inflicted violence from the Notifiable Diseases Information System were used. Specific orientations were given in the classroom regarding materials. It was evaluated how the form was filled in. There was a variation in filling in the forms regarding the years of the course. It was concluded that the action privileged the knowledge and the correct filling of the notification form by the undergraduates.
