Como tornar a reabilitação cardiovascular mais presente e efetiva?

Resumo

Objetivo: embasar na literatura a prática dos profissionais que atuam com reabilitação cardíaca. Método: trata-se de uma descrição da experiência dos profissionais de saúde que prestam assistência e acompanham os pacientes que realizam RCPM no Núcleo de Cardiologia e Medicina do Esporte da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina. Resultado: o programa existe cerca de 25 anos a atende de forma gratuita a população encaminhada de serviços públicos e privados da região da grande Florianópolis, com o objetivo de promover a reabilitação de seus pacientes através de programas baseados em exercício físico, com estratégias que englobam exercícios físicos convencionais, dança de salão e atualmente a implementação da reabilitação do tipo Home Base. Conclusão: através do programa contatou-se que o preparo profissional e a intervenção por diferentes estratégias de exercícios podem favorecer a adesão, reduzindo os custos do tratamento e possuindo ação efetiva na reabilitação.
