Abstract

Objective: evaluate the profile of articles published in the Interdisciplinary Journal of Health Promotion since its creation in January 2018 until December 2020. Method: cross-sectional and descriptive study in which 160 manuscripts (92 articles published in 12 numbers) were evaluated in the form of Original or Review Articles, Case Studies and Rapid Communication. Results: it was observed that the methodology most used in the studies evaluated was quantitative (mean of 4 authors/article and 29 by volume), 73.2% of the authors female and coming mainly from the Southern region of Brazil. The mean time between submission and publication was 174 days, with an average rejection rate of 33%. Conclusion: the analysis performed becomes important to define the profile of accepted studies and identify aspects to be restructured and size the quality in the development of the journal.
