Objective: To evaluate the quality of life, satisfaction levels and physical activity of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) undergoing hemodialysis. Methodology: Fifteen patients undergoing hemodialysis and followed up at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Federal University of Pernambuco participated in the study. Information was collected through a semi-structured questionnaire containing data on age and gender, clinical data (presence of comorbidities, underlying disease, duration of dialysis therapy, type of access and complications present such as cramps, nausea and migraines), and the questionnaire was used Kidney Disease Quality of Life – Short Form (KDQOL), the Patient's Global Impression of Chance Scale (PGIC) and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), to analyze quality of life, level of satisfaction and level of physical activity, respectively. The data obtained were transferred to the statistical program and then performed the descriptive analysis of the sample. Results: Lower scores were observed in the domains of 'your health', 'your kidney disease' and 'effects of kidney disease' of KDQOL. It was observed that 46.6% of the participants scored their perception of improvement and satisfaction with hemodialysis as much better, and 40% as better. Regarding the IPAQ, most participants were classified as irregularly active (46.6%). Conclusion: Although a decrease in quality of life was observed, and most patients presented a reduction in the level of physical activity, most of them considered themselves satisfied with the hemodialysis program.
