DISAPPEARANCE OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS IN RIO GRANDE DO SUL (2018-2022)
Abstract
The research deals with the procedures for searching for and locating missing children and adolescents from 2018 to 2022, comparing the practices of a specialized police station for the protection of children and adolescents in the city of Santa Cruz do Sul-RS with those of a municipal police station in the municipality of Lajeado-RS. With the general objective of analyzing how the process of searching for and locating missing children and adolescents takes place, based on a comparison of the procedures carried out by a police station specializing in the protection and defence of the rights of children and adolescents, located in Santa Cruz do Sul-RS, and a municipal police station without this characteristic, located in the municipality of Lajeado-RS, the specific objectives are as follows: to present the Law of Children and Adolescents, in the light of the theory of integral protection; to describe the situation of missing civilians in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the years 2018 to 2022; and to analyze, comparatively, the procedures for searching for and locating missing children and adolescents carried out by a police station specializing in the protection of children and adolescents, in Santa Cruz do Sul-RS, and by a municipal police station, in Lajeado-RS. The methodology used was the deductive approach method, the monographic procedure method and bibliographic and documentary research techniques.Downloads
