Abstract

In 2020, there were around 160 million children and adolescents in child labor in the world, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO). In Brazil, in 2022, around 1.414 million people between 5 and 17 years old carried out economic activities, with 46.2% carrying out activities on the TIP List (PNAD Contínua 2022). The United Nations (UN) Agenda 2023 established the objective of ending child labor by 2025. The numbers demonstrate the urgency of the issue. The present study addresses the application of the structural process as an effective tool in the combat to this chaga, adopting the deductive methodology, through bibliographic review, aiming to contribute to discussions about the transformation of the state of non-conformity/unconstitutionality of early work to the state of ideal things, with the full implementation of the right not to work for children and adolescents, to guarantee dignity and citizenship.
