Abstract

This research addresses the context of child labor from a perspective on ethnic-racial issues, capitalism, globalization, and poverty. The general objective is to study the context of child labor in Brazil from an ethnic-racial perspective of urban poverty in a globalized capitalist scenario. The specific objectives are to understand the globalized capitalist scenario and the resulting urban poverty, and to analyze the context of child labor from a perspective of urban poverty and ethnic-racial criteria. The research problem asks: what is the relationship between child labor in Brazil, from an ethnic-racial perspective of urban poverty, and the globalized capitalist scenario? The research method is deductive and monographic, with bibliographic and documentary research techniques
