CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE LAW AND PUBLIC POLICIES APPROACH: REPORTS OF THE TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN A STRICTO SENSU POST-GRADUATION PROGRAM

The article reports the teaching experience concerning the approach of Law and Public Policies, in the discipline of “Social and Administrative Control of Public Policies", offered in the Doctorate Program in Law at the University of Santa Cruz do Sul. The objective of this work is to briefly present the structure of the discipline, discuss some options for the presented topics and share a basic bibliography for those professionals, which is to teach public policies for researchers with this background in legal sciences in the strict sense. In order to organize this proposal, the work is divided into four sessions: 1) presentation of the discipline with the structure of the PPGD Unisc; 2) dialogue about the main challenges in approaching Law and Public Policy in a Stricto Senso Graduate Program; 3) subject contents and pedagogical organization; 4) a reference framework of topics and bibliographies covered in the course. The method describes the path taken by the professor, seeking the justification of the choices within the context in which the discipline is offered. The final considerations go towards reinforcing that it is not a “recipe” of teaching in the approach of Law and Public Policies, but rather the sharing of an experience that is already consolidated in a PPG and that
