This article disserts about the positivism incapacity to achieve a concept of public service with an acceptable level of complexity by using syllogisms and definitions. Which observations are possible to make to the positivism way of operating to define public service is the problem that moves this article. The hypothesis is that positivism is unable to define public service, due to its antiquate way of thinking.
