✓ Reformulation of checklists for initial manuscript review

We created specific checklists for each type of article, including originals, reviews, metadata and letters. This facilitates the work of reviewers, ensures greater standardization in evaluations and optimizes the review process.

✓ JCR Impact Factor

For the first year, we obtained the impact factor linked to the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), with an index of 0.2, demonstrating the relevance of the articles published in our journal.

✓ Expansion of the Editorial Board

We expanded our editorial board and strengthened the team of reviewers and collaborators, ensuring greater agility and quality in the evaluations and improvements in the journal's internal workflows.

✓ Analysis of Acceptance Time 2024

The average time between submission and acceptance of articles was reduced to 2.4 months, compared to the 4.2 months recorded in previous years.

✓ Identification of Plagiarism

This year, we recorded 6% of the articles submitted with more than 40% plagiarism, a relevant data for the analysis of the quality of the submissions.

✓ Updated Cover Page

We have updated our cover page, including not only more personal data for each researcher, but also the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Now, researchers can indicate which SDG their article falls under.

✓ Indexing in a New Database

We have been indexed in the CUIDEN database, which has further increased the visibility of our articles.

✓ Increasing Accesses

We have received 25,000 accesses by December 19, 2024, with readers from Brazil and countries in Europe and Central America.

✓ Participation in events

To further increase the visibility of our journal, team members participated in the Congress of the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors (ABEC), representing the journal and promoting the expansion of its reach.
