Cistite enfisematosa é um diagnóstico diferencial de doença do trato urinário que se desenvolve pela presença de bactérias fermentadoras na bexiga urinária. O aparecimento da doença está relacionado com diversos fatores, dentre eles: sexo feminino, presença de diabetes mellitus descompensado ou histórico de bexiga neurogênica. Para que seja diagnosticada são necessários exames de imagem, usualmente a radiografia ou a tomografia computadorizada. O presente relato demonstra um caso de uma paciente feminina idosa, não-diabética e que havia recentemente realizado procedimento cirúrgico.Downloads
