Accidents with venomous animals in a rural community of Mato Grosso

Objectives: accidents with venomous animals have a great social and economic impact in Brazil, being one of the main problems of rural dwellers, in this way the study aimed to describe the experience of discovering accidents with venomous animals in educational activities and a rural community of one of the The largest rural settlements in Latin America. Case Description: 35 participants, aged between 14 and 70 years with an average age of 36, emerged three axes of discussion: "incidence of accidents with venomous animals narrated by participants in lectures", "risk of accidents with venomous animals in the region of Actions "and" knowledge of the rural workers about cares in a case of an accident with venomous animals. Conclusion: it was noticed the importance of health professionals in the strengthening of relations with the rural community or in the promotion of new habits and behaviors in health, Which can reduce the vulnerability of rural life.Downloads
