Abstract

The object of this paper is the Pedagogy of Alternation in Rondonia. The paper aims to problematize it by arguing that, by means of the organization of popular collectives, the Pedagogy of Alternation has proposed and implemented a kind of education that disrupts the historical discrimination of rural subjects. This is a bibliographical research with documental analysis. It used theorists of Pedagogy of Alternation and Rural Education by articulating them with authors from the field of Cultural Studies. It was concluded that Pedagogy of Alternation has been able to defend the rural subjects and their right to a kind of education that meets their interests.
