This essay deals with Phenomenology as a methodological approach that articulates the engagement between existence and research practice. The discussion arises from the dialogue between two experiences: a Master's Dissertation and a Doctoral Thesis in Education [1]. Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology requires a constant hermeneutic stance, respecting the constitution of the method in observation, analysis-interpretation and propositions. The merleaupontyana existential dialectic is considered radicalized in the (inter) relationships it establishes, in the perception of the polysemic reality that it assumes, without prescriptions, without syntheses; intentionality embodied in totalities; an epistemology of possibilities.Downloads
