The text discusses the relation between normalization processes and services to support school inclusion. It analyzes policies of school inclusion in Brazil (1990-2015), using the Foucauldian concept of normalization. The analysis indicates that support services perform normalization processes by correcting and investing in learning, thus moving people with disabilities through normality zones. Hence, inclusion policies articulated to that rationality invest in capabilities, and not only in marking the disabilities.Downloads
