This article presents the Mapping of Traditional Practices of Care and Healing carried out in the “Quilombo de Mata Cavalo” located in the county of Nossa Senhora do Livramento/MT. The project aims to rescue and safeguard ancestral knowledge and practices linked to the crafts of care and healing, through a training process based on face-to-face workshops. We also seek to reflect on the knowledge linked to such practices, in a non-school education perspective from cultural knowledge. It is a qualitative research, placing itself methodologically within the scope of Popular Education, considering the wisdom of experiences and the knowledge of experience.
