In view of the growing medicalization in the school space for children diagnosed with disorders, it is necessary to critically reflect on the role of the school in conducting these processes. Based on a qualitative methodology, with semi-structured interviews, we sought to analyze discourses, actions and meanings that permeate the organization of the school that serves students with learning disorders. We realize that there is a growing blame of students and teachers for school failure, as well as that school subjects are medicalized so as not to continue the recognition of differences present in the school environment.
