Hegemony and Pedagogical Alternatives in indigenous territories

This paper aims to provide a theoretical and methodological framework as a means of approaching to some alternative pedagogical experiences built in Latin American indigenous territories. Throughout the text, three main related sections are developed: a) a brief historical review of those pedagogical alternatives that emerged from indigenous peoples, b) a synthesis of the educational policies made by Mexican indigenous peoples and also those addressed to Mexican indigenous peoples, and c) the systematization and analysis of two pedagogical experiences implemented in Oaxaca and Puebla, two Mexican states.
