Boys and girls in experiences of participation
a path for the culture of peace and the exercise of citizenship

Child participation is key to building citizenship within the framework of peace and democratic processes in our societies. In terms of law, it has been the object of proposals and public policies that seek to guarantee it. This article gives an account of the systematization of two of the experiences that have been oriented in different contexts of the city of Bogotá, by the Infancias research group of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. The narratives of the experiences are: Serious participation of the right to the fact: learning experience in training for peace and Experiences of participation and political subjectivation in the program girls and boys educate adults (PNNEA).
