TEACHER TRAINING IN RELATION ETHICAL OF THEORY WITH PRACTICE: A QUESTION OF UNIVERSITY SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Learning and teaching are in two activities very close to the experience of any human being. People are in constant exchange of experiences and knowledge, in which they teach and learn at the same time. The methodologies of teaching and learning require a constant effort for innovation and creativity in the process of building a meaningful learning. In this sense, the university needs to plan its actions so that the educational training of professionals, citing specifically here, the training of teachers, is printed with the brand of ethics and social responsibility. This study aims to understand ethics in theory and practice in the process of teacher training and, thus, a two-way street, from the viewpoint of university social responsibility. To this end, the path of this research followed a qualitative approach, specifically action research, based on the perspective of understanding the social responsibility of universities in teacher education through the development and implementation of a project of social, involving students Degree in Biology from the Universidade Estadual do Piauí, and high school students from a public school, both institutions are located in the city of Correntet-PI. No country can aspire to be developed without a strong and independent higher education system. In a world where knowledge goes far ahead of material resources, the importance of a strong higher education is increasing. It is also essential to improve the quality of education offered to the strengthening of their students as future ethical professional, competent and responsible to be.Downloads
