The present research, quantitative and qualitative one, aimed to analyzing the relationship between the styles of conflict resolution adopted by the teachers and the students' ways of acting facing conflicts between peers and the possible incidence of bullying in two classes of the early years of elementary public schools in a city in the interior of São Paulo state. For data collection, observations were conducted in two classrooms, a form was filled up for characterization of socio moral environments and two questionnaires were applied to students: one with stories of hypothetical conflicts based on Vicentin; another on bullying, inspired in Olweus and Ortega-Mora and Mora Merchán’s instruments. It was evident that the quality of relationships stablished by teachers has great influences on how students solve conflicts and the incidence of bullying.Downloads
