One of the possibilities of playing in Children’s Education is giving visibility to gender relations historically and culturally constructed in the most varied social spaces. In institutions of Children’s Education, girls and boys have the right to enter these spaces, but not always to the same opportunities to express freely their aims, desires and playing without unquietness and demarcation of limits, chiefly concerning gender. We will provide here a piece of a study that has aimed to know and problematise conceptions of gender in children’s practices in playing in an institution of Children’s Education at Maceió-AL, taking into consideration playing as way of resignifying and reinterpreting socially legitimated culture.Downloads
