PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHERS OF BASIC EDUCATION: REFLECTIONS FROM THE EXPERIENCE IN THE PIBID

This work, takes the professional development of teachers as the object of teacher training and turn shis attention to professionals from Basic Education involved with the Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID), that are called to collaborate in the initial formation of future colleagues. In this sense, it aims to discuss practice sand know ledge mobilized by these teachers in this context and that changed their professional know ledge repertoire. The first part of the paper presents analysis of how some iberian and brazilian research understand the concept of 'professional development of teachers.' Brings, following, recent empirical data produced through interviews with 30 teachers within the research Desenvolvimento Profissional Docente e Inovação Pedagógica: estudo exploratório sobre contribuições do PIBID, initiative supported by Programa Observatório da Educação (OBEDUC/CAPES - Notice nº 049/2012). The findingshigh light four indicators of the professional development of teachers interviewed, who semeanings discussed throughout the work.Downloads
