Abstract

This article is about the person's education with deficiency inserted in the historical context of the Brazilian education. It discusses on the political facts and social debates involving the theoretical-practical aspects of the general education and of the special education. It shows the limits and impositions that the governments, along the history, attributed to the development of the person's educational scenery with deficiency.
