Abstract

The present work aims to explain the processes of production of meanings that constituted the journalistic media discourse in circulation during the end of the More Doctors Program - PMM / More Doctors Project for Brazil PMMB. The journalistic media discourse analyzed is based on three levels of circulation: national (Jornal O Globo), state (Jornal Zero Hora) and regional (Jornal NH). The time cut carried out was the second half of 2018 (starting on July 1, 2018) until the first half of 2019 (culminating on June 30, 2019) which sets precisely the period of the end of the PMM / PMMB in its structure initial cool.

Doctor and Master in Social Sciences from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos, with specialization in Sociology, Anthropology and Political Sciences. Specialist in Social and Cultural Projects from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Graduated in Pedagogy from Unisinos. At graduation, I started my academic career as a scientific initiation scholarship holder from FAPERGRS, and in postgraduate studies as a CAPES scholarship holder. I also had the experience of acting as Coordinator and Supervisor of social projects in RS, in partnership with Unesco: United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, USAID: North American Agency for International Development, BEMFAM: Sociedade Civil Bem -Estar Familiar no Brasil, Ministry of Health: National Program for STI/HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis, State Health Department: State Coordination for STI/HIV/AIDS. I have professional and academic experience in research, elaboration, coordination, development, research methodologies, monitoring and evaluation of projects, as well as the production of descriptive and financial reports. I have knowledge and experience in the areas of Education, Social Sciences, Health Policy and Social Assistance.
