The intertextuality represents an esthetic and literary phenomenon which happens with frequency in the whole Modern Literature since Renaissance, movement intertextual by definition. The present article intends to investigate how the literary productions of Argentinean writer and essayst Jorge Luís Borges and of Italian novelist and semiologist Umberto Eco compose, in the 20th century, theories about this phenomenon, mainly through the metaphor of the mirrors.Downloads
