At this paper, as a result of an ongoing theoretical doctoral study, we intended to discuss the question of the meanings production throughout the relation between linguistics and psychoanalysis. From the notion of lacanian significant theory we asked: Is possible to understand in the saussurian linguistic system a not linear meanings production? Is possible to have in Saussure a movement between the expected and the unexpected? We started from the arbitrariness notion and the consequent theory of the value. We propose, across arbitrariness and value notion, that the saussurian linguistic system is besides everything a work with the meanings production. The system of the language defined by Saussure allows us to see a possibility to understand a meanings production that it is not only linear, but also resulted from a contrary movement, open to ruptures.Downloads
