Computerized solutions for solving problems that emerge from concrete everyday needs are structured through deductive algorithms. However, even before designing algorithms, there is an abductive step guided by the goal to be reached which is usually neglected. Following Rauen’s (2013) Goal Conciliation Theory, I intend in this article to describe and explain how the process of formulation, execution and checking of ante-factual abductive hypotheses occurs in developing a computerized solution.Downloads
