The article presents the background and the results of a research developed by the School of Languages at PUCRS in partnership with the School of Psychology, which aims to investigate the communicative and cognitive abilities of older adults, to contribute to the improvement of their quality of life. From the interdisciplinary approach involving, specifically, Theory of Literature and Neuropsychology, the study presents qualitative results on the cognitive functions of a group of older adults participating in an intervention program based on literature, measured by pre and post-tests.Downloads
