Abstract

When it is environment, an interface is verified among two interaction fields: the natural sciences and the social sciences. To work the environmental subjects demands a simultaneous participation of these two fields. This article seeks to answer to the following question: Which the importance of being considered the interdisciplinarity for the understanding of the environmental subjects? With this study it is objectified to enlarge the knowledge and the understanding of the framework institucionalist and of the ecological economy in relation to the environmental subjects and to the construction of the interdisciplinaridade, allowing to question on its importance and about the operacionalizacion possibility. It was ended that the interdisciplinarity doesn't dilute the borders among the disciplines. In spite of that, it doesn't mean that the proposal is simple, because the interdisciplinarity is not decreed, it is a practice in permanent construction. With relationship to the environmental problems, they are rendered to an analysis multidisciplinarity and/or interdisciplinarity, being difficult the apprehension and understanding of its complexity through the disciplinarity.
