Contributions of a cooperation network for family farming cooperative for the implementation of NPPB in Sergipe: the case of Sergipe Biofuel Network

Studies on the relationship between companies is a central focus when discussing cooperative relations. This study aims to analyze how a network of cooperation contributed to the implementation and consolidation of the National Program for Production and Use of Biofuel - NPPB and generated contributions to family farming cooperatives in Sergipe. The method used in the research was the single case study, based on reports from representatives of three family agriculture cooperatives using semi-structured interviews. The results show that the cooperation had various information, especially the understanding of the network's objectives between the participating institutions, the establishment of formal relations with large institutions provided credibility, access to new markets, reducing costs and risks and the establishment of social relations cooperatives.Downloads
