Local Clusters and Regional Development Productive: diagnosis of apl in the Southwest Region of Paraná

Discussions of literature point to a change in the capitalist system in the last decades of the twentieth century, mainly due to the passage of the mode mass production for a system of flexible specialization, leading to clusters as a strategy for regional development. In this scenario, this research aimed to conduct a sector analysis of the clusters from southwestern of Paraná, order to guide the elaboration of development strategies. The guiding methodological occurred with the application of the SWOT methodology for the compilation of the results of field research, generating a set of notes regarding the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the clusters analyzed. The results demonstrated the relevance of this research for the development of strategies and policies related to the development of these clusters and their region.Downloads
