In the current worldwide economic scenario highly competitive and globalized, the industries introduced significant changes in their organizational structures, especially the industries dependent on high technology, reorganizing their business strategies and redefining the models of partnerships with the supply chain and customer network. In this economic context the transfer of technology has become an important competitive advantage to the industries based on high technology, allowing the specialization of those industries in their business segments. Some models of technology transfer have been proposed and worldwide adopted by the industries, being the aeronautic sector one of the sectors that have implemented these models which has more evolved in the pursuit of ideal collaborative model, creating clusters to consolidate and strengthen these results. The objective of this research is to discuss models of installation and consolidation adopted by the Canadian and Brazilian aeronautic industries, identifying differences and similarities. For this purpose, the methodology was based on the use of qualitative approach, adopting the type of documental research. With this approach it was possible to conduct a complete and detailed analysis of models of installation and consolidation adopted by the Brazilian and Canadian aviation industries. The results suggest that, although the main aircraft companies Brazilian and Canadian operating in the same segment of the regional aviation, the Brazilian and Canadian aeronautical industries were consolidate in different ways, justifying the distinct technological stage that they are nowadays.Downloads
