Hospital Educational Assistance: pedagogical work organization attributions and contributions

This article presents an investigation with a qualitative approach of the State-of-the-Art type on the relationship between the organization of pedagogical work and hospital educational care. It aimed to map and analyze the attributions and contributions of the organization of pedagogical work in hospital educational care in academic research during the period from 2008 to 2018. Data analysis allowed us to identify that the attributions are related to the teaching and learning process and the differentiated pedagogical strategies, based on pedagogical action based on the school curriculum and on the specific educational needs of the hospitalized student. As contributions, the study revealed to exceed school issues, because in addition to the continuity of school life, it contributes to health care and favors biopsychosocial aspects, benefiting therapeutic care.
