This article proposes an analysis related to the proposal for a Full-Time High School, one of the axes of the New High School, established by Law 13.415/2017 and Management Policies. These introduce a managerial model in public services, through a mercantilist conception of education based on neoliberal logic. To this end, we point out the Policy to Promote the Implementation of High Schools and the debate related to the Integral Education and Integral Time concepts. We also contextualized the EMTI policy within the High School Education reform, presenting its main changes, the managerial perspective, and the articulation with the private sector.
